Membership is easier than you think.

If you work, live, worship or go to school in Norfolk or Virginia Beach or are connected with the former Navy Public Works Center, the military or a number of private companies, you qualify for membership.
You establish your membership with a Prime Share account and always keep that $5 in that savings account. You are then eligible for all the savings on loans and fees as well as all the other services that NMA Federal Credit Union has to offer. Email or call NMA 757-497-4500.

Account Opening Requirements under the USA Patriot Act

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you:
When you open an account, we will ask for your names, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

Savings are Federally Insured
The National Credit Union Administration NCUA insures security of your savings at NMAfcu. This federal agency provides insurance up to $100,000.00. To calculate the amount of insurance protection provided go to the NCUA website.
